Major: Ocean Texture Change

Previously I had altered the ocean texture to work better with the lighting when rendered. However adding a white background behind this render (as this is the colour of the background I will be compositing in behind all of the renders) made the water colour too light which I don't like. Also one frame took 27 minutes to render. Therefore I decided to go back to what the ocean texture was before as with this it takes less time to render (20 minutes) and I will add a dark coloured background behind the ocean in each frame when compositing. This will allow me to have more control over what the colours look like. However one thing I did like about the other texture is that it looked more like water so in photoshop I have tried out putting a layer of colour, with the opacity down, over the image to make the plants and fish etc look more like they're in water. I have also tried this out with a render of the top of the water

Water render with white background- colours are too light

New water render with a dark green solid colour behind it

New water render with background and colour on top with opacity low

Render of top of water with all white background

Green + white background added in photoshop

Green + white background with render

Render with background colours and colour on top of water with opacity low
