Summer Work: Redesigning- Windows metaphor

Windows Metaphor

"My brother was able to talk to strangers, happy to do things like order his food at a restaurant. I was scared I'd say the wrong thing. I'd stay quiet and ask my mum to speak for me."

Moving Parts:

  1. Windows
  2. Smoke from Chimney
  3. Curtains
  4. Tyre Swing
  • On top of a grassy hill (the hill is the planet)
  • Path leading to door from the bottom of the hill
  • Rocks around the house in the grass
  • Fence around the house, with a gate
  • Curtains- orange and purple
  • Tree with tyre swing next to house
  • Firstly you see the whole house
  • The camera 'walks' up the path
  • The camera then floats upwards and around the house (doing a full circle around the house)
  • Focuses in on window 1 (Top left window at the front of the house)
  • The windows are closed, they then fly open and the curtains billow in the wind
  • Then camera moves around to the left and focuses in on window 2 (top window on the left of the house)
  • The left window is open and the right is closed. The left window suddenly slams closed with a bang.
