Maya- Reflective statement

I feel like I have learnt a lot about the Maya software over the course of this year as in September I had not used it before. I felt like I had learnt enough by the time it came to using Maya to make my final year 1 project to be confident enough to use it successfully. I'm feel like I'm especially confident with the actual modelling, but I still need to work on things like UV layouts, rigging and skinning. I also need to become more confident with the more technical aspects- i.e. lighting and rendering settings. I hope to improve further next year and get to grips with every part of Maya.
