Fantastic Voyage- PRE-VIZ
Pre-viz for 'Pollen's Journey':
It is a collection of playblasts from each shot of my animation put together with rough editing. In most shots the animation is about half way done, with the camera angles and placements correct, but no other animation yet, i.e. the bees wings moving etc.
Also when there is a still image with faded colours that is when the annotations are going to appear that go along with the narration. I'm not sure yet if I am going to leave it as still frames or have a bit of movement, of the bee for example, while the annotations are appearing.
Finally the transparency and fading of certain objects doesn't work as well when playblasted but when the frame is rendered it looks how it is suppose to.
Hi Em - congrats on getting this sorted - one observation re. your camera movement, you need to consider 'slow ins' and 'slow outs' - i.e. try and avoid the camera starting and stopping abruptly - there's a rather mechanical quality at the moment to your camera movement which I think you should soften out. The other big thing I noticed is how 'busy' some of the scenes look in terms of all that patterning on everything; this is one of your challenges to manage in terms of ensuring we always know what's important in the shot.
