FSTS- Time & Place and Environment Research and Influence Maps

After establishing that I would need a specific time and place to set my story in, I researched famous travelling circus' and found out about a 19th century American travelling circus from which pictures were recently found. I think this would be a good time and place to set my story at as it is very distinctive and has a very strong, specific style. The pictures found also help me a lot when it comes to the environment of my story. The look and feel of the circus will be similar to the circus pictured. The design will be quite simple and reflect the time period that it is from.
