Character Design- Props and Anthropomorphism

We started off the lesson by taking one of the well known characters and designing props for them that fit into the 'culture' of the character. I had Winnie the Pooh and so I designed props that he could use of help him get his honey. I purposely made the props quite basic as they would just be made from the things that Winnie the Pooh can find in the forest:
 I also developed the spoon-on-a-stick:

We then took the concept of anthropomorphism and I had to take inanimate objects that you might find in a garden shed and transform them into characters:

(right page- I developed the 'angry lawn mower')
