Richards Williams is a highly successful Canadian animator who was a pioneer of hand drawn animation. He worked on many films including 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit', A Christmas Carol' and 'The Pink Panther'.

Williams himself attributes his success to the late 1960s when he started to hire the people that Disney and Warner Bros were dropping. At this point he had a highly profitable, multi-award-winning company.

Over the decades he has worked with many high profile people including: Grim Natwick, who animated most of 'Snow White' as well as creating 'Betty Boop'.
He has won 3 Oscars, 3 British Academy Awards and over 250 other international awards.
He has one film called 'The thief and the cobbler', which he has spent decades working on, and is thought to provide visual inspiration for Disney's 'Aladdin'.
