Maya- Animated Texture
In our Maya lesson on Friday we put on animated texture onto a cube in Maya
We started with a basic cube in Maya, and then used the UV editor to get the net of the cube ready to add texture.
We then took the net of the cube into illustrator and drew a design onto it
We started with a basic cube in Maya, and then used the UV editor to get the net of the cube ready to add texture.
We then took the illustrator file into after effects, and animated the mouth and eyes by changing the opacity and the position of the parts across different key frames
We then rendered the animation out as a image sequence
Finally, we then went back to Maya and put a 'blinn' onto the cube and assigned the file to the 'colour' of the blinn
(Not shown- the mouth moving as if its 'speaking', and the eyes moving from side to side) |
