Generating ideas

In our photoshop class on Monday we learned a specific way to generate ideas for how Calvino’s cities look.

Firstly we started by reading the text of a specific city (mine was Leonia) and picking out the key words.

Then we had to write out a list of words that linked to the text and make connections between them.

I also wrote out lists about specific things in the text such as describing the street cleaners.

I then started to generate some thumbnails for Leonia, I didn’t get every many but it’s a start!
